I wouldn't call what he did in the final two rounds, trading. He bounced around, made Vera miss and countered him. It was hella smart boxing, especially considering he was (or looked) exhausted. I didn't mean to make it sound like he did laps around the ring or anything.
As always, thanks for clearing things up Jake! I hope the smokin' wasn't a biggie for you, and I smoke Marlboro Lights BTW!!!Comment

And I agree with everyone who had Quintero winning the opener. One of the two fighters impressed me in that fight, and it certainly wasn't Broner. I thought it was hysterical that Teddy repeatedly referenced his extensive amateur career (300 or so fights), because amateur really described Broner's performance.
He was about to hop on Broner's hype train but decided to withhold his judgment after a few rounds. He quickly changed his mind and jump off the bus! lmaoComment

Ha, no worries. I know it's said with passion and not anger. But believe me, I have very thick skin and am never scurred to defend or clarify what I write. Sticks and stones... and all that good stuff.Comment

I really liked what i saw out of McEwen. He is very elusive and was turning Vera all night. As soon as he felt the ropes on his back he was already gone. Very good prospect if you ask me, but needs some more confidence going toe-to-toe when needed.
As for Broner / Quintero, I thought Quintero won too. and wtf was up with Broner and his shoeshining punches. He sounded like a ******. I laughed so hard when he did that!Comment
