So....This fight needs to happen if Khan beats Kotelnik, and Ortiz beats Maidana.

The winner goes on to fight Bradley, and gets a chance at becoming a unified champion.

          no way this will happen.

britain needs a new boxing star with hatton probably retiring and haye dying in his next fight.

khan can be a 135 champ.

he's been fighting old featherweights at 135 and you want him to fight oritz? ortiz is BIG for 140.

          no way.

let khan fight one of the diaz's at 135 first to get a good name win against a legit 135 guy. with marquez and pacquiao leaving the 135 division , that's the division khan should concentrate on.

those last 3 names tells me that this is just a negotiation tactic to land mayweather and to get a larger portion of the revenue split. Roach said it himself on 24/7, he is just looking for big money fights for manny and nothing else. there isn't a bigger money fight than mayweather for manny right now.

Sounds like he kinda wanted Manny to take an in between, stay busy type fight before a big PPV at the end of the year.

They won't put Ortiz in against Pacquiao. That wouldn't happen anytime soon at least.
