What do they mean by, "Not waiting for Mayweather"...

He's fighting in July, he will ready for his next fight around the same time frame when Pacquiao is ready as well.

Sounds like the words of a ducker to me...

Ortiz will be just like Vargas if he signs to fight Manny. I don't think Golden Boy will let that happen.

Ortiz will be ready for Pac one day, but not now. Pacquiao is on another level right now and Victor still hasn't really faced much of a challenge. Ortiz is at the stage Pac was at 122, but more well rounded at this stage. Duke got the potential, he just needs to keep working hard and getting better through thick and thin, which is one of the things that separates Pac from a lot of others.

"Wanting Cotto" means nothing. The only one who said Cotto is next is Arum, who promotes both fighters and would make the most money. Roach is the one saying Mayweather could have waited one day to un-retire and he could have fought Manny, and that the two will most likely fight one day down the line.

At this point, Ortiz, Khan, Valero, are not big fights for money Pacquiao. Biggest fight out there is winner of JMM/Mayweather. Period.
