Very true. Floyd is not the only one guilty of it. Many of the welters are. Honestly though, do you still feel Roach is wrongfully protecting Manny? That was the main thing that I had issue with. Can you see that Roach is somewhat protecting Manny from fighters guys who are simply too big and strong? He set that limit to keep the fighters who are too big away is all. Smaller welters he left the door open with and I guarantee he would be somewhat flexible with them regarding what weight to come in.

The biggest one you have to worry about is Arum. Arum is already out there trying to close some doors (with Floyd) and opening others (Cotto and that Chavez Jr. Joke)

Arum is the one to worry about for real. Roach and Manny are innocent in all this.

I don't knock Roach at all for protecting Manny Pacquiao because
loyalty, love and respect is supposed to be traits that a trainer
has for his fighter. Bob Arum is just all hyped up and frankly I
think he is getting too old because when you start getting older
like he is most people become sour and bitter at everything and

Until about January of 2010 you are right, Arum can put Pacman in with Cotto. I think it is an odd fight, but it should do atleast as good as Pacman-Hatton in terms of US sales (it is not near as big a fight though as Pacman-Floyd). There is some merit to going this route because the interest to the fight would build substantially, Bob Arum is a big believer in time being huge in building the appetite for fights (it is risky because either or both could lose). After that though who will Pacman fight that is anywhere near Mayweather's level. If it happeans in the next fight or next year this fight will happean aslong as both keep winning (may take a couple tries to get the fight made though)

If Manny fights Cotto first, the only person Floyd can fight is basically Mosley (possibly Cory Spinks, he is a lefty but would he be willing to take short money to get some work against a decent southpaw?)

Roger himself said there will be no catchweight for Manny. There was a video of him in here yesterday that I posted. I have no issue with Floyd even Fighting Manny at like 142-143. What pisses me off is him even considering fighting JMM who has not even proven himself beyond 135. At 135 jmm is even extended. He did not grow out of 130, he moved up to fight manny and to fight a couple lightweights to make some money. Suddently he has to fight at welterweight, with one of the most talented fighters in the last 20 years, mainly because he wants money. Floyd's camp should not want any of that with a fighter so small.

There is another video on here where you can hear Floyd saying JMM and Pacman are too small for me. He said it himself, yet those are the guys he wants to sign the contracts with. You see no issue with that?

He went up to fight Oscar and gave Oscar every advantage. Hatton moved up division but weighed the same as he always do. marques will have to move up, but he too will weigh what he always do!
