that they fight to settle it out. De La Hoya was/is bigger
than Shane & Pac went all the way up to 147 to fight him?
Fact of the matter is that Roach is not trying to let Pac
fight Mosley because of the risk and thinks Manny has a
chance against Cotto (at a catch weight). How do we
really know how good Manny is if he is not beating WW's
at their best? Floyd fought a lot of bigger guys, even
went up to 154 for Oscar and that's like a 2 1/2 height
difference and 16 pound weight advantage for Oscar.
Manny is getting spoon fed advantages, like it or not.
Atleast Floyd fought guys at 147 may not be Cotto/Mosley
but he put it down there. If Floyd is willing to go down
to a catch weight to fight the P4P best fighter in the world
then what's the problem? Wouldn't Pacquiao have the edge?
There is another video on here where you can hear Floyd saying JMM and Pacman are too small for me. He said it himself, yet those are the guys he wants to sign the contracts with. You see no issue with that?

Floyd I also have no real issue with, but I just wish people would see the game he plays and how it is detrimental to the sport itself. Floyd has not taken any real chances in years. Deep down you know this to be true. That is why I lost faith in Floyd 4 years ago. He started playing the damn game to much and stopped being a fighter.
147, then got fat at 154 went back to 147 & got fatter. Now he's in
a position to get paid and can do want he wants. Sure I want him to
fight Cotto/Mosley but I can genuinely and honestly say through his
career he went after Cotto and Mosley so it's not like the man didn't
want them, I just think now he wants to get the biggest fights and
with all that said I still think Pacquiao gives Floyd more trouble than
Cotto/Mosley because of his South Paw speed combined with good
power more that Cotto/Mosley being the bigger guys. Floyd makes
boring fights with slower guys because he can dictate the pace.
Pac would make him fight. I have no issues with you either.....
don't look too much into the "mad guy" thing. I here for the
sport and to debate against guys who share the same respect
and love for the Sport of Boxing.

The Oscar fight was a one time deal, Freddie said that before the fight, and he gave us his reasons as to why he wants Pacman to fight Oscar, that's not to understand isn't it?
don't want to do but all this catch weight business is a lil
obsurd considering that Manny can just stay at 140 and just
fight the best guys or eveyone there if they feel like Manny is
too small to compete with guys like Cotto/Mosley/Floyd
at their respectable weights. In defense of Ricky Hatton
eventhough people dis him and say he is a bum of overrated
at least he went up to 147 and put his work in and went 1-1
even won a REAL welter Weight title, will or can Manny Pacquiao
do that?

The Door is open for Floyd(who can make 143-144 easily) and Cotto(Maybe More Difficult but possible without hurting himself). Yes he is protecting his fighter some, but like I said, Manny and JMM are so far extended when it comes to weight classes already, they should have some protection. JMM's camp can only see green I guess which is a shame.

LMAO!!!
Pacman, who captured a world title at 112 went to the States and fought his first fight at 122! Went up and fought at 126, 130, 135, 147 and at 140. Hatton's crib is at 140 and he went up to 147?!? Big friggin deal...

He did not grow out of 130, he moved up to fight manny and to fight a couple lightweights to make some money. Suddently he has to fight at welterweight, with one of the most talented fighters in the last 20 years, mainly because he wants money. Floyd's camp should not want any of that with a fighter so small.

his emotions get the best of him. I think his lust for another fight
with Manny Pacquiao gave Floyd an excuse and perhaps the quickest
way to get a fight with the P4P best fighter in the world and that
would be to school the 2nd best fighter in the world (some say #1)
more convincing than Pacquiao and go after Pac next. JMM if you
look at it set the stage for this beat down. I just feel strongly that
Cotto/Mosley should have been where JMM/Pac are right now and that's
P4P #1/#2 and guarantee a fight with Floyd would have happened but
they unfortunately are not attractive $/fame wise for Money Mayweather.
Not making excuses but when you have these biggers guys agreeing
or chasing smaller guys to gain $ and fame then you can't really knock
Floyd for doing it.

Roach don't want Manny to fight a WW at his comfortable weight
then he just state that instead of putting a catch weight out there.

the arrogant floyd fans on here are brutal, first of all when it come down to who actually dererves a bigger split there is no question its manny. look at the class of fighters compared to floyd. someone said manny has fought washed up guys his last fight, floyds last five were the same except with baldomir, judah and sharmba mitchell. morales, barrera and marquez and all great. and manny not fighting black fighters? the best at those weights are mexican, he wont fight mosley because mosley has fought at junior middleweight a lot of his career and manny is like half his size. the fact that he can even fight junior welterweight is amazing enough. and if floyd had already fought the mosleys and cottos then his resume wouldnt be a bunch of bums, besides castillo and zab, who really werent that great anyways. **** floyd and all his dumb ass, no nothing about boxing fans. pacquiao is a warrior in the ring, floyd is a *****.

The biggest one you have to worry about is Arum. Arum is already out there trying to close some doors (with Floyd) and opening others (Cotto and that Chavez Jr. Joke)
Arum is the one to worry about for real. Roach and Manny are innocent in all this.
