I dont think its a coiencidence that from paul williams to berto to everyone else managed by haymon, within the last 2 years there has practically been no activity between any top rank fighter and anyone managed by haymon. im also willing to bet thats why there were so many independent PPVs from arum especially within the last couple of years.

arum is easily jealous of what goes on at HBO because of the instant gratification that goldenboy gets right off the bat. Top Rank has the best matchmaker in the buisness, i forget his name, but he crafted mayweather, cotto, and now pacman etc, top rank unquestionably has better fights than goldenboy. Yet Goldenboy gets overpaid for HBO dates that are set way in advance. Basically, HBO will break the bank for guys like Oscar and Floyd, but WILL NOT do that for guys like Pacman and Cotto. When is the last time floyd or williams or berto fought off of HBO? Thats not a coincidence.

Now JMM beat him the 1st time and lost a close decision the 2nd time. and you telling me that trumps beating the undisputed champ at 147 and lineal champ at 147, beating an undefeated top 5 p4p fighter and fighting 1 of the sports greatest fighters at a weight and ring that was you disadvantage.

U got to understand this.....Floyd has been champion his whole career and has defended at a 100% success rate his whole career. Manny can't trump that. But he could have a made a stronger argument if he would have fought the actual champ of the divison or atleast attempted to make a fight with the real cham p at 135. actually fight a WW champ, then his argument would be stronger.

Beating and old Oscar who just got dominated 2 yrs ago by Floyd and beating a defeated hatton after Floyd schooled him doesn't make you surpass the man who did it 1st.

Arum needs to go....ain't nobody getting in the papers saying they want deal with him when he is the center or the common factor in all these disgruntled negotiations. Saying Pacman should fight Cotto and that would sell more and simultaneously saying if you want manny, u got to take 40 because he is draw despite no stats whatsoever to support that....Arum is the problem.
