this is actually a good thing believe it or not. (if this is true) pac doesnt have the leverage in tems of calling the shot. the mayweather fight can be made for 50-50.. seems fair.

if pac-haton had stellar numbers, then pac would argue that he's the draw, and no way floyd takes the smaller pot. thus, killing the fight.

the pac-floyd fight is the fight boxing needs

If we go purely on numbers, Mayweather deserves a 60/40 split over Pacquiao.

Lets see how Mayweather does against JMM in July. If May generates at least 500k that'll be the 3rd common opponent where he has outdrawn Pacquiao by 20% or more.

Is there a link yet? I doubt Arum can just ask to not have the numbers released. If it was like that, he wouldn't release the numbers for Pavlik-Hopkins.

All I know is that I went to the supermarket for beer before the fight and in front of me and behind me were people who were talking about the fight buying alcohol. Same thing were my friend was. I actually thought there was more of a buzz for this fight then there was for DLH vs Pac. So I am not going to believe the TS till I see the actual numbers.

Notice there is no announcement from HBO yet. The figures are in, and Arum has requested that the numbers not be published.

Domestic US PPV buys are under 650K. Disappointing.
Wow! I thought the Arum projections were high, but I thought it'd be at least 1 mil. This is ridiculous. If Pacquiao can't surpass the Mayweather PPV numbers against Hatton then Arum is in NO POSITION to DEMAND 65% of the revenue. Maybe maybe 55%, but absolutely not 65%. Plus, all Mayweather-Marquez needs to do is 400,000 buys to surpass Pacquiao-Marquez 2. I bet that fight does a minimum of 500,000 and probably does somewhere between 600,000-700,000.
