Mayweather Sr. knew from the get go Hatton had no chance. He was just blabbering off to sell the fight. Mayweathers intentions were to use Hatton as a guinea pig so he can learn from Pacquiao to set up a match with his son Floyd Jr.

Sr. intentions were to set up Hatton for failure to set his son up with probably one of the most biggest fights/paydays in boxing history.

Floyd Sr. was there for nothing but the money. That's the difference between him and Roach. Floyd Sr. can shoot his huge mouth off about "joke coach" and crap like that, but at least Freddie believes in his fighter 100% and is there for him through thick and thin.
Roach would never train a talent like Ricky. Sr. was in for the money yes. But Ricky lost the fight on his own. If you can't take 4 punches from a former FW you are crap. Ricky had nothing there.

What does this or anything have to do with Ricky coming forward with his hands down, absolutely nothing. Any fighter would and should get knocked out if he does that.
