i hope everyone realised that its rickys lawyer and not ricky himself saying this.

and anyway he does have a point, it was obvious something was going on, how can a trainer turn up 20mins before the fight after all the stuff in the media about trouble? ricky must have been wondering if he was gonna turn up at all. after round 1 go look at the tape, ricky looked straight at lee.

you can tell roach really loves his fighters and boxing whereas floyds more into the money, roach was staying up watching hatton tapes 2hrs every night for 2 months, can you imagine floyd doing that? he couldnt even turn up to training on time. floyd even said when asked who he'd train in hatton vs his son and he said 'well if hattons paying good'

he'd have lost either way but hatton was against pac AND roach, the best fighter in the world and probaly the best trainer.

ricky CHOSE to come out first....
Just like he choose to go in , grab and hold and f--k up his whole gameplan .It could have been something phsycological , legs going to jelly , and daunted with no trainer .

it's easy to tell someone to move there head but not as easy as it sounds, especially when you're against someone who can throw 230 punches in 2.30 seconds.

I sincerley hope that Snr is not going to be made the scapegoat for the farce that took place in the ring. It is true that Snr only attended the dressing room shortly before the ring walk which isnt acceptable, but the fact of the matter was after 12 weeks of intensive training Ricky should have been ready. He is a 12 year pro with an extensive amature background - if he hasnt learned that you cannot just steam forward without a jab or headmovement against a super sharp southpaw like Pac then jesus christ himself wouldn't have been able to help him let alone Snr. The thing that I can't get over is that he was hurt before the knock downs so a guy with his expereice should have been able to gather his thoughts and get back to the gameplan. By the secound round he seemed to have done this, as he wasnt getting caught as much and seemed to take the shots better - with the few shots he caught Manny with he hurt him. He caught him with a decent right which sent Pac about 4 feet across the ring -call me a fool but I'm still convinced that ricky could have taken him out late if he had keep his head. The KO was a joke.....Ricky went running straight into Pac's line of fire with his guard by his balls doubling the impact - it hurts me to say he deserved to get cracked.

thats one thing i still wondering untill now, fact that manny is the challenger for the IBO and ring magazine how come he was the last man called by buffer?

Floyd Sr. was there for nothing but the money. That's the difference between him and Roach. Floyd Sr. can shoot his huge mouth off about "joke coach" and crap like that, but at least Freddie believes in his fighter 100% and is there for him through thick and thin.
              Yeah tell em nsb warrior.

He was getting money and now he's stuntin that ****, its a habit.

Sr. tried to improve Hatton's game and talked some smac but once they got in the ring, you could see Roger looking over a Pac's corner and Sr. too; they had a look like our guy is toast. They looked like they knew the deal once the 24/7 was done.

BTW, why WAS Sr. late to the event?

Not sayin' it had to do with Hatton's performance, but what was the beef they had between each other a couple of days before the fight?

Hatton should question himself, for making such a dumb tactical mistake against the best fighter in the world. I didn't see a jab, no head movement and no thinking from Hatton at all. He should retire, because there's no champions i see him beating at 140 and especially 147.
