Who claims Chad Dawson as a savior? The only people who I have seen rate him are Brits. They all have him on their P4P lists.

He IS a joke, because he ducks prime fighters and goes after old men!

He'll want old Roy Jones or old Joe Calzaghe next, but will never face his young, hungry mandatory Tavoris Cloud.

dawson is a young fighter and up and comer.

tarver is the vet and been at the top for a long time.

Blame the promoter, not the fighter. When has Dawson ever had a chance to cultivate a fan base? The closest he's come is when he was a prospect and a regular at New England cards.

Winky Wright and Paul Williams didn't exactly break box office records either. It's Vegas, the economy and the old, lazy way of promotion that doesn't really work anymore.

no one cares about tarver again after the first fight, if he fights someone exciting those figures will rise dramatically.
