Cotto should fight Pac at 145 if this fight ever happens, which I doubt. Anything else below 145 for Cotto is suicide, he goes in like a similar Dead DLH come fight night.

I think this Pacquiao guy is going overboard. He has beaten two washed up fighters and all of a sudden he gets 65% of the purse against Mayweather and he also demands Cotto come down to 142.Pacquiao fought DelaHoya at 147 lbs, when he fought Hatton Pacman weighed 148lbs.What's wrong with a fight at 147.We all know Cotto struggled with 140lbs long back.He hasnt made 140 for a long time so why should he go to 142.

Pacquiao brings all these conditions and the world is silent. Why cant he be like the warrior called Floyd. He accepted to fight Oscar at 154 because size dont win fights. He accepted a small ring and all these little gloves even though his hands hurt. That's what great boxers do.

I'm sorry Manny and his team are acting like bitches and **** them

Money will make people change their minds real quick. Let's face it, outside of Puerto rico and the PR contingent in the U.S, Cotto isn't a money winner.

Pac is the face of boxing now and if Cotto wants to get paid he will have to accept Manny's terms, or Roaches terms I should say.

It's the same reason for years Oscar could dictate everything from the type of gloves to the size of the ring....

The man who makes the $$$ calls the shots. I think a catch weight would be fair in this fight because Cotto has fought under 147 before, where as Pac has only fought theere once.

I'm thinking 142-143 would be a fair weight if both want to do this thing.

Did you know that 35yr old is pound for pound number 2 and a 43yr old is number 3

Everyone keeps talking about what weight this fight should be at and ETC, what makes me laugh is that this fight might not even happen yet. I still think Miguel Cotto could easily lose to Joshua Clottley, even though i have Miguel Cotto as the favorite.

2 years ago this fight would of been laughed at how things have changed, i think if it did happen and thats assuming Miguel Cotto beats Joshua Clottley. Which isn't no easy task and this fight takes place at a fair weight, then Miguel Cotto will stop Manny Pacquiao i have no doubt in my mind.

Negativo he would lose his stock with real boxing fans like us and probably every Boricua out there, but to the casual fan watching the fight because of Manny or because they bought into the hype via 24/7 HBO it makes cotto another Marquis fighter to the public because he will be a GAME fighter and be willing to exchange with Manny.
