Cotto has no punching power. All his KOs have come late by accumulation of punishment. He couldn't kayo Margarito with all those precise punches that landed, Mosley did. I have seen however, Cotto in trouble before but his opponents did not know how to finish him off and he came back to win those times. If Manny puts him in trouble he will be able to finish him off. Manny in eight rounds by TKO. His speed will be too much for the slower Cotto.

Cotto don`t have much KO`s on first rounds because he is a smart fighter unlike Hatton... Feel the guy first try to sploid the weekness. Now i have to agree than Pacman surprice me, it will be a great fight between them to.

i agree im going with cotto in this one, hes too smart for pac cotto destroys lefties, however pac is very very dangerous , anything can happen but id rather c cotto take it.

i know i was exaggeratin, i was makin an example.. No honestly i would wait a couple more years to see this fight because obviously Pac is not ready for Cotto, but Pac dilusional fans make me angry and makes me wanna see the fight, id rather see Cotto vs Mosley 2 or Cotto vs Floyd, but ey, if they both agree then i wouldnt mind watching the fight at all, so i can see how Pac reacts to a real Elite.

Pacquaio wouldn't be an easy fight but at the same time, Cotto would be in complete control. Its a size mismatch and the difference in power and strength would be too much to overcome, especially one that gets hit as much as Manny does.

Just get this fight made. Yes Cotto is the naturally bigger guy but I aint counting the Pacman out especially with a coach like Freddie who literally dissects film on the opponent.

Make this fight happen in Las Vegas or Madison Square Garden. Ill go to either.

given that manny did a fantastic job against hatton, it is to my opinion though that comparing hatton's skills and size is enough to forcast how cotto will do against manny pacquiao. bob arum just want this fight to happen because of the money, sensing the retirement of the Filipino great is in the air. Besides, there are still some good contenders, why take an unnecessary risk?

No Cotto is in a different league than Ricky Hatton, he can fight, he can box, he has speed and power that prevails over all welters right now. Pacquiao will give him respect fast and early. it will be an even fight I see pacquiao getting KOed by a good shot. Pacquiaos chin hasnt even been tested just yet

What?? pac's chin is not tested? when can you tell if its already tested? after pacman fought a heavyweight??? after fighting the big names like barrera, morales, marquez, diaz, DLH, and hatton your still saying pac's chin has not been tested????????????????? how can cotto beat pac if he has no speed but just mere power, how can he catch pac's head with a slow motion punch? and he has no footwork. the big question here is, how can cotto handle the speed and power of pac that he has proved he could carry at any weight. cotto will be just a sitting duck for pacman, a punching bag with a glass chin -you see him always wobbles when hit. how can he handle and take that punch if its coming from the pacman, i can't see no chance at all for cotto to beat pac but to hit first with big one punch but it ain't gonna happen coz pac is a moving target.
