There were times in the Hatton/Mayweather fight where Hatton was able to use his good foot speed to get into the pocket and land on Mayweather, but he had trouble getting out or going too far in and getting an elbow to the mouth or clinched. Also, once Mayweather got more aggressive he was landing on Hatton as he came in, even after Hatton had slipped a first punch.
Can Pac neutralize Mayweather's reach?

Bmore, you got it all wrong.
Floyd doesn't clinch, he forces his shoulder into his opponent and uses his right hand to do short uppers on the inside. Hatton's style is "punch-hug" not Mayweather's. Dont confuse Hatton's failed attempts to hug with Floyd's brilliant defense.
If your a technical fighter or enjoy technical fighting then you would understand. If not then, I dont blame you for not understanding.Comment

because he usually doesnt HAVE to.............however he'd be looking to 'calm' and control PACs aggression.............he'd need the jab to throw PACs rhythm and timing off........................and that might make Manny get a lil wild and loopingComment

a lot of fighters have looked 'IMPROVED' until they were frustrated and then they resort to old BAD habits.
I think the true question here though is WTF has PBF been up to in retirement, that will play the biggest part in a Pac match-up
Has he been Judah'rin around the club circuit?Comment
