    Can Pac neutralize Mayweather's reach?

Mayweather has only had trouble with fighters who have near-equal or greater reach/height specs to himself. Of course, good speed and decent boxing ability is another criteria. Castillo, Corley, De La Hoya, and Judah all had pretty good reach/height.

Has Pac shown an ability in the past to neutralize reach and height disadvantages? I know Morales and De La Hoya are two obvious answers, but Oscar's performance seemed to be an aberration as far as how bad it was right out of the gate, and Morales did beat an albeit greener Pac. I know that Pac has speed similar to some of those that troubled Mayweather, but he is lacking in reach and height which so far has been a necessary formula to give Mayweather trouble.

Yes...pac's head movement would neutralize it... he would dart in and out, throw an unexpected left through his head movement.. Pac is a complete machine now that can get better!

The shoulder roll is effective when you have a significant speed advantage. Don't any of you wonder why Mayweather decided to adopt the winky wright guard after round 4 and take the fight to Judah?

He definitely can, but Mayweather adapts and does his inside fighting.

The shoulder roll doesn't work too good against a southpaw, especially one with speed.

It does work against Southpaws. It actually works better against south paws. Because they get left open to the right hand counter after rolling their punch.

Shoulder roll is effective when you have agility, not speed. Agility is how quickly you can shift your whole body, speed is how fast something goes in a straight line. Shoulder roll is a body movement, so its based on agility and timing. Floyd's timing is unreal and his agility is second only to Whitaker. Judah was beating Floyd because Floyd was trying to be offensive. When he became defensive and started rolling punches, he pissed Judah off. Thus Judah loss the fight, 12 round decision for a reason.

Pacquiao doesn't have a good defense and only moves his head on the way in, like the dempsey roll. The only way Pacquiao will neutralize Floyd's reach is if he can back out fast enough. Pacquiao does in-and-out flurries, no real defense. Thus Floyd will probably pot shot him with short hooks and uppers, maybe the jab to the body as well. If Pacquiao doesn't get hurt from the counters then dont expect to see Floyd fight "offensively" the whole fight.

Pacquiao's awkward rhythm, in an out movement and head movement should be able to negate reach.

I always respect you opinion on any boxing fight Silencer's and am just curious who do you have in a win if Mayweather-Pacquiao gets made?
