Im loving maestros post...saying hattons "punch resistance" got worse, thats the first time I ever heard that. His chin isnt gonna lose its toughness after being beaten 1 time before his 2nd lose, come on. Hatton even gave that mayweather trouble early on, pac didnt have no trouble at all.
I bet cottos punch resistance went down ten fold after getting beaten down by mr. plasterhand margacheeto, so clottley better win, if not, then the theory of "punch resistance" goes out the window.....lol, what bull****.
So you're saying what Freddie Roach said is bull****? Sorry, I will take Roach's word over yours anyday!
Roach knows that any fighter who takes a punch to give a punch sooner or later is going to lose their punch resistance. He knows it because that is the same style he used to fight with and why he is punch drunk today.
"Hatton is not the same fighter after his loss to Mayweather, he took something out of him which is why he was on shaky legs against Lazcano" - Freddie Roach
Getting KO'd in a clean shot, you don't lose much, but running face forward into flush right hands over 10 rounds from the most accurate boxer in the sport will take something out of you, especially if you're at the end of your career and on the decline. That something proved to be his chin, which is why Roach predicted the fight would end so early.
You obviously don't know anything about boxing!
Btw, regarding Cotto. Yes, I do feel Cotto is not going to be the same fighter against elites since his brutal loss to Margarito. Getting hit with loaded gloves over 11 rounds is bound to have it's effect on a fighter, and one of the reasons why I think Roach is aiming for him as Pacquiao's next opponent. Add in Roach's absurd demands that the 160lb fighter weigh in at 144, and you have a even fight.Comment

Mayweather is a p@ssy!
Let me say, Larry Merchant said it well, "Floyd is good, and only because he know who to fight and who NOT to fight!" AND all you Floyd Fans take this REAL im gonna give you, "You can't claim your the best P4P and avoid the Clottey's, Cotto's, Margaritos, Mosely's, Williams, Wrights, and anybody who is real fighter NOT just a boxer!"Comment

Cause Im sick of hearing all the bitching from everyone, here is how it is. Ricky was a good champion who had the balls to come to America, move up in weight AND fight the p4p champ Floyd Mayweather in his own backyard. He tried, but Floyd was a class above him. Then Ricky takes on a wrecking ball in Pacman who was also the p4p #1 at the time and got knocked out cold. He wasnt on the same level as either guy. He thought he was, but he clearly wasnt. They were better. Does that make Ricky a **** fighter for losing 2 times to two different P4P #1's? **** no it doesnt. It just means he was never on their level. He deserves respect for fighting the top dog twice. He could have went out unbeaten had he picked his matches more carefully. But he wanted to be the man. And to be the man you have to beat the man. At least he had the balls to try.Comment

lol lol lol
You Floyd fans are really fooled! Floyd is NO P4P with wins over Hatton and a "can't pull the trigger Oscar" ... Every TOP Welter wieght would kick Hatton's ass! Now maybe if Floyd dropps to 140 he can claim something, but if it's dangerous, Mayweather is saying, "huh" "what" ... "uh" ... "I retire!"Comment
