And if a fighter does come in weight drained it's his fault. If they keep them selves in shape DURING TIME OFF the would not have problem making any weight!!!

Ppl complain DLH was weight drained blah blah but thats his fault. He did not come down from 154 he was prolly around 165-170 mark wen he went into camp. Now that's a lota weight to lose during training. Now had he kept himself at 154 all the way through making 147 would not be a problem!!!

So if cotto or mosley have to make 144 if they keep themselves round the 150 mark it won't be a problem come fight night.

Sounds like the words of a man who has never boxed or tried to make weight before. You try eating **** food for 6 weeks and working out constantly. It's ****ing hard; on top of that, some guys simply cannot cut down any lower because their bodies wont allow it. When your dehydrated and weight drained, it also depletes the fluid that surrounds and protects your brain, so when you get hit, you get rocked a lot easier. 2 pounds makes a hell of a difference.

That's why if you look at the best boxers they keep themselves in shape all year round. I mean geeez you get paid sooo much money i would want to stay in shape pro long career. It is a short career anyway then u can do watever u want!!

I'm in great shape all year around. And I couldn't get in the ring right now and fight more than 4-5 rounds probably. To be in fighting-shape is a different ball game. If you ever tried to cut weight or boxed, you'd understand.
