You definitely have a point, a slower fight would most likely be Mayweather's fight.

Since the Marquez II fight to Hatton fight we saw how Manny improves his right hand.

Manny having that both hands is enough to beat Mayweather Jr.

I hope coach Roach has another idea and a new game plan.

I suggest Roach develop and improve Manny’s legs this time to add a roundhouse kick to Manny’s arsenal to beat Mayweather Jr.... JOKE!!!

What else do you think should Manny have to improve when he fights Mayweather?
pac will have to improve his uppercuts against floyd.

it'd be sick if pac could learn the bolo punch

Time for Mayweather to show if he is as great as he claims. The fundamentals are there, the smarts too. We will see about the guts. I am confident that the ****er did not spend his entire life in a gym for giving up/getting discouraged in the middle of a fight.
You ve seen enough of Floyd to know he wont give up if he gets caught with a good punch but he is human and getting discouraged, changing his tactics or losing the courage or willingness to exchange at all is a possibility. It will also be interesting to see who's stamina if anyones will fade.

From a psychological standpoint Floyd has built himself up into this boxing untouchable superhuman. What happens mentally for him when he cant execute his usual tactics? What happens inside his head when he is down 8 rds to 2 and he needs the KO or his Ego is shattered? That is what is so fascinating about this potential matchup

Dont be foolish enough to think that floyds ego outside of the ring transalates into ANYTHING he does inside of it. That second portion of your post is wishful thinking by all means. If floyd is actually down 8 rounds to two in a blowout against a guy like pac, id be shocked. hed be the first to do it and hed be doing something nobody in 19 title fights has been able to do.

dont be foolish enough to think you know Floyd any better than I do. Floyd's ego or confidence in the ring and that of any high level boxer at that level is an intriguing aspect to me. Ive seen Boxers simply fall apart when things dont go there way(Im speaking mentally not a boxer who has been broken down to the point of their body sayin no more). Foyd has faced that only once when he fought Castillo in their first fight and he didnt exactly step it up and pull it out. I tell you what buddy since you are so confident in Floyd, understandably, you look me up if and when they fight and I will be the first to throw down 50,000 pts on Pac.

this is a flatout ****ing lie, watch round 11 and tell me that he just got discouraged and didint step up. mayweather at no point in that fight looked like he was going to back down from anything, it was a close fight, but he dominated the first half and what happened in the 2nd half was debatable.

Not to mention, he rematched the guy, the only rematch hes ever had. Did chavez give whitaker a rematch? Floyd is extremely insecure on people who doubt him and will do anything to change perception, i sincerely believe he wouldnt be back here right now if pacman hadnt taken some of his p4p luster away from him, the gap between him and pac closed, thus hes come back to open it up again
I dont care to bet points, they are meaningless to me, i have been known to freely give them away, my confidence in a fighters victory means im calling up the nearest bookeeper and putting down real money. i care little for fantasy bets.

the fact that ONLY ONE FIGHTER in the history of his resume has even come close to beating him should tell everything about his mentality in that ring. (cue 8 posts about how floyd cherrypicks fights he can win)

wmute sir! how hav u been man?

manny should be ur man if u like greatness unfolding... he may not be the best fundamentally but he gets the job done...

anyway, i remember roberto duran using his smarts & great boxing skills when his speed & reflexes were slowly abandoning him... his longevity was really something special...

great are the fighters who rely on boxing smarts more than athleticism... they last longer than the athletic types...
