if mayweather beats marquez, pbf vs pacman is on, and it will surpass ppv revenue records i think and it has to happen this year in 2009, otherwise it wont be special

why are you mayweather huggers kept saying it is only a tune up when Mayweather HIMSELF said that it IS NOT A TUNE UP?????

"I am not wasting any time with a tune-up fight," Mayweather said Saturday when the fight was announced. "I'm going straight to the top. Marquez called me out immediately after his victory over Juan Diaz in February and now he gets his wish. What he is going to find out is that you should be very careful what you wish for.

if he wants to fight the best at HIS weight (Welter weight), then fight a legit WW and not a blown up superfeatherweight!!!!!

I wont be shouting at the top of my voice if he did not mentioned that he was going straight for the top fighter.....Jesus Christ

            In the lower weight divisions.

What has he done at 140 or above to even be considered a top fighter at 140 and higher?

Shane Mosley is right there behind Marquez,

and is in the same division Floyd is in.

If hes not fighting a tuneup,

why not fight the best in the class?

Let me ask yall something, which is more amazing? When Lebron James dunks or when Nate Robinson dunks?

Pacquiao has had more obstacles to overcome than Floyd Mayweather and has done in a seemingly more impressive fashion as well.
This is the best response in the thread and I love how long the initial post can be yet this was never addressed. If the TS was looking for a debate, this guy just ended it.

JMM at lightweight yes...but 3 fights ago, he was at the 130 lbs. im sure you know that....

Im sure you heard Money May said "A great big man beats a good small man".....

why dont he fight the top WW where he is insisting the fight should be?

why dont you open your eyes and accept the fact he is ducking true WW fighters...

Pacquiao came up from light weight to 147 to fight de la hoya and moved down to 140 to fight Hatton at his best weight. Pacquiao's victories were more unexpected & dominant.
