The reason being is that Manny Pacquiao is a very small fighter moving up to fight these fighters.. Mayweather has great fighters in his own division to fight yet he refuses to fight them, he rather take the easy fights for him and play it safe (hatton, mayweather, baldomir). The only reason De La Hoya win was so great is because of the size difference.. The article forgot to mention that De La Hoya was a jr. middleweight fighting a Super Featherweight and that Manny Pacquiao had never stepped foot @ 140.
Mayweather made Hatton move up a division to fight him. Manny Pacquiao moved up a division to fight Hatton.
I don't see the Hatton win as a great win at all.. It just catapolts Pacquiao even more into the spotlight though.
The article writter also forgot to mention that Manny Pacquiao beat both those guys much better then Mayweather ever did.

There is really nothing else left for me to say.

you can't discredit manny's wins over hatton or odlh with out discrediting floyd's wins against the same fighters. I knew hatton was on a down slope before he faught pbf and hatton ****** at 147 too and i knew odlh no longer had it when he was getting smacked around by little stevie forbes.

I guess after all of this, i guess we should have manny vs floyd at 140. I wont complain about that match. What else can we say? We just have to wait.

I don't think arum will make it happen but i can't speak for bob arum.
cosign and you can't discredit floyd wins over them with doing the same to manny

Its a decent article, but i think the biggest difference is that Pac has cleaned out divisions more than FMJ has. Not only that, he gained weight to fight the man considered "THE CHAMP" at 140. Fought DLH at 147 and stopped him, has held many Lineal belts and really hasnt handpicked opponents (other than D.Diaz) like FMJ has. FMJ was considered the man at 147, but never fought any of the other champs or even his own mandatory in Berto. FMJ has given us some great fight (Corrales, Hernandez, Hatton), Manny has given us many and all the more dominating.........just my opinion.....

Cant wait to see Pac vs FMJ
