It took Pacquiao 11 rds of punishment to stop Barrera while it only took junior jones 5.
to tell you the truth they could've stopped the mab fight sooner.

Floyd won a boring decision over Baldomir without hurting him
Floyd fought a close decision win with DLH, many thought Oscar won
Floyd went into the late rounds and stopped Hatton

      Pacquiao destroyed Diaz
Pacquiao destroyed De La Hoya, humiliating and retiring him
Pacquiao quickly destroyed Hatton, in rounds 1 and 2.

      Pacquiao > Mayweather

Ali had life and death struggles with Frazier. Losing one.
Ali was beaten by Norton, getting his jaw broken

Foreman demolished Frazier in two rounds... with 5 KD's.
          Foreman nearly killed Norton

          Foreman > Ali.

            Ricky Hatton @ 145

Manny Pacquiao is the so called modern day "Henry Armstrong" that fought

            David Diaz @ 135
Oscar De La Hoya @ 145
            Ricky Hatton @ 140

            1. Baldomir posessed the WBC, IBA, & IBO Belts and was coming off beating Judah & was @ his natural weight
            2. Oscar posessed the WBC light middle weight belt & was coming off beating mayorga & was @ his natural weight
            3. Ricky Hatton Was Fighting for Floyd's Belt but was coming off beating Jose Luis Castillo & was NOT @ his natural weight

            on the other hand

            1. David Diaz posessed the WBC light weight title and was coming off beating Erik Morales who announced his retirement directly after the fight & was @ his natural weight
            2. Oscar De La Hoya Posessed no belt and was coming off beating steve forbes @ 150 unimpressively & was NOT @ his natural weight
            3. Ricky Hatton posessed the IBO light welterweight belt was coming off to beating Pauli Malignaggi & was Fighting @ his natural weight

            You could argue that

            Floyd Beating Baldomir>Manny beating Diaz
            Floyd Beating Oscar>Manny beating Oscar
            Manny Beating Hatton>Floyd Beating Hatton

In my opinion to be fair.. if you are going to call Floyd Mayweather Jr a cherry picker you have to call Manny Pacquiao a cherry picker as well

It was at 147 with Oscar, not 145. Manny was coming up from 135, Floyd was coming from 147 (I think)

Pacquiao fought Hatton in his best weight class, Mayweather fought him at 147.

Mayweather is called a cherry picker because he was floating around 147 for a while and never gave some good names a shot. Pacquiao has recently just moved up and is calling out all the big names.

Overall I'd say Mayweather isn't a huge cherry picker, maybe a little bit....but not like a Calzaghe type of cherry picker.

I don't know how pac vs floyd would unfold, but I know pac's performances in those 3 fights were better than floyds.

manny is doing the same thing as floyd, they are only fighting the bigger profile or big money fighters instead of fightin the fighters of there division
baldonir was the champ zab judah has a name and oscar and ricky brought the most money manny fought ricky and oscar the 2 fighters that bring the most money, i don't see manny fight anyone besides diaz at 135 nor do i see him talkin about fighting any of the 140 fighters it's the same thing floyd did

                    Pacquiao

                    1. had been fighting 90% of his fights at or below 130 lbs
                    2. he fought at 4 different weight class the last 4 fights
                    3. he completely destroyed his last 3 opponents
                    4. he does not want to duck true WW and is looking to fight Cotto or Mosley

                    Mayweather

                    1. wants to fight at WW with Marquez
                    2. says that his fight with Marquez is NOT a tuneup fight but would not want to fight a true WW

if one is a TRUE boxing fan willing to look past a boxer's race or color, im pretty sure he would look at pacquiao as a fighter who takes risk big time

                      how about this:

                      Sugar Ray Robinson: 19 loss
                      Mayweather: 0

                      WOW, Mayweather = GOAT
