Interesting.. Why can't other countries produce fine boxers? Like China, India or in the Middle East and Europe?
It seems like boxing really is a culture of "Spanish-colonized countries".. Just like South America and Philippines..
Seeing that Mexico has got loads of fighters, they're really a boxing country.. And Puerto Rico as well.. USA dominated the heavier weights, UK so so.. Philippines produced its first boxer in the 1920s (Pancho Villa) then after 40 years another great boxer (Luisito Espinosa), then the next 40 years came the Pacman (Manny Pacquiao). Wonder who's the next fighter after Pacman? Do we have to wait for 40 years?Comment

There would be 6 Filipino World champions today if only Steve Luevano didnt fake a shoulder injury to duck Bernabe Concepcion. I personally dont think the kid's anything special....but for damn sure he's at least better than Luevano.Comment
