The only reason i agree with this is because of the performances that Pac's opponents gave. Pacquiao battered DLH into submission and dropped Hatton 3 times in 2 rounds.
Who knows what that Pacquiao could have done with the Casamayor and Diaz that Marquez fought.
The fact that Marquez has Mayweather next, is justice enough that not much seperate Pac and him still to this day even after their battles.
Also, i know it's a long shot, but if Marquez beats Mayweather, i consider him p4p #1 until him and Pacquiao meet again. JMM's competition shows one of the strongest active resume's in the sport.
