of course freddie knows how to create advantage/s for his fyter, just like floyd does!!
cotto may well be at 158 during fyt nyt but freddie will cook up something to counter that.

i'm telling you too, the fyt will happen at 144, ryt in the middle of 140 and 147 for the WW belt of cotto.
cotto's logic in accepting the fyt?:
    1. he is bigger and stronger than manny, early camp can negate possible
    weight drain.
    2. this is cotto's biggest opportunity to stardom, catapults im to p4p rankings
    3. a win with manny will make him the flavor of the month, and leads to a
    super mega fyt with floyd.
    4. arum can easily make this fyt than manny-may.
I think the best fight to make is Manny Pacquiao and Floyd
Mayweather Jr. That's what everybody wants to see. The
only one that really want Manny/Cotto is Bob Arum. Pac/PBF
24/7 would be off the chain considering Manny is a nice guy
and Floyd is the bad guy and we all want to see how Manny
deals with Floyd. I can wait for Floyd/Cotto or Manny/Cotto
after them two get it on.

away but how long have they been watching this guy fight? I saw
him whip many fighters asses toe to toe and totally dominated an Undefeated, heavy hitting, Diego Corrales in his prime, he whipped
out and had Phillip Ndou corner stop the fight, Henry Bruseles whipped
out in the 8th and these were guys who had like 1 or two losses in
30 fights and a high KO ratio. Mayweather is NO JOKE and if people
stopped for a minute and kept their annalyzes about boxing then they
would see the truth as well. Personally, I see Floyd talking **** because
he sells himself and a fight, that **** shouldn't be taking personally like
      most do.

Floyd had more towels thrown in the ring to stop fights, outclassed
guys with speed and accurate punching, fought toe to toe with a
game Jesus Chavez punch for punch and made him quit. Floyd has
style for every fighter. Maybe there is somebody out there that can
kick his ass but until I see him, I'm always going to put my money on
Floyd, because the guy is in his prime and still has some fight in him.
I just don't see anyone technically better than him right now.
I agree that in his prime he would be almost unbeatable, but just by looking at him at the press conference, he looked old or tired or something , just not right. He also was talking a little funny. I don't think this layoff has been good to him. I give him credit for fighting a true P4P best in his first fight back, no matter the weight difference, but I think he loses this one by KO.

I think Floyd has just grown up a lil and he even said that he has
a new motivation besides money and that's his Son, Daughter and
Mother and that right there can make you hungry enough to give
your best. Floyd been off for awhile but I think he has been
training and staying in shape ever since because seriously, how
did anybody think he would stay away? If anything a lay off and
maturity is something he needed to give his mind and body a rest.
I can understand if he would been taking punishment his whole
career, retired then came back but he was almost flawless in his
fights against his opponents. I think he will be fine. He timed
        his return perfectly.

        • I have a feeling that it's gonna be a Pacquiao-Marquez showdown in a moment-of-truth finale. Still, my brain keeps telling me there's no way Marquez can triumph over Mayweather on July 18. The Mex is too small for Junior and he's 35 or 36 years old. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed these two guys won't put us to sleep. Even if Marquez loses to Mayweather, I'm a bit positive that Pacquiao would still give Dinamita a chance to complete their trilogy. We all know about the undying issue that continues to haunt Pacquiao everytime the name Marquez is mentioned, and he's not gonna let that nagging question mark forever stain his spectacular record. But first the Pacman has to get past through Floyd Jr, which I believe he could. With unbelievable and unexpected ease.

          • So Marquez wants to get his ass beat my Mayweather first, then Pacquiao.

It wouldve been better to have Pacquaio and Marquez first, while Floyd fights Mosley or Cotto. Then have the P4P match later with Floyd vs Pac. Or Floyd shouldve skipped Marquez altogether and just fight paq in the early winter. Too bad Floyd f'd things up.

Now we'll hear alot of excuses in the future if Pacquaio defeats Marquez. "Marquez was already taken care of by Floyd".. "manny waited for Marquez to get older for a rematch"

the best fyts today should be manny vs juanma and cotto-may semi-finals.... for a probable manny-may p4p supremacy

                • Unfortunately, a 36 y/o super featherweight Marquez is no match for the previous pound for pound Gayweather.....

                  just enjoy the money JMM.....

                  after you get KTFO

i disagree with u on this one bro..Corrales is not an elite fighter..he doesnt even know how to use his jab..his height is useless coz he doest use them..easy to hit as well

                    • Pacquiao vs. Marquez III will be the "Biggest Money Fight in History of Boxing". Ha ha ha ha! Only in all of Mexican's dream. Manny will not fight Marquez ever!

Gayweather and Mama-Marquez will make a lot of moolah come July 18, but it will be their last money making venture. They will be expose as nothing but trash talkers and cry babies.

I'll bet no one will hit the canvass in this coming fight. And the paying public will be bored by 12 rounds of dancing and defensive posturing of both boxers.

The Pacman should fight real P4P fighters like Mosley and Cotto instead. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!
