Craig McEwen takes a step up on ESPN this week!

Craig McEwen faces Brian Vera on ESPN Friday Night Fights this weekend. It's a big step up for him, and what happens should tell up a lot about him.

Vera is the perfect gatekeeper - he's a good, strong, very determined fighter, slightly below world class. Andy Lee failed his test against him, while James Kirkland passed!

    How will McEwen do?

I am, I met Vera before the Kirkland fight and consider his manager and wife friends of mine.

They say he was been looking very good in sparring, has a new trainer working with him and fully expects to whoop McEwan's ass.

Who the f is Craig McEwen... Must be a huge step up for him since I never heard of him before. And I can't even find google pictures of him at all so I can't even recognize him by appearance.

He's a young, undefeated Scottish boxer who now fights out of Las Vegas.

I was at his last fight on the Wright-Williams undercard, and he KOed his opponent early with a body punch.

But he hasn't fought anyone good or decent?

              Not until now.

Brain Vera will be his first real test.

If Vera loses its going to look bad, he should be favored to win this match though I never seen his opponent fight before. I'm just basing it off who Vera has fought and what kind of opposition he has beaten. And this fight favors him for that alone.

who the fcuk are you, vera will be beaten.

Craig mcewan is a top prospect, he was a very good amatuer, with over 300 bouts, hes been trained by freddie roach from the start and promoted by golden boy.

Hes going to have a big future
