One on hand, its ok for a fighter you like to take on someone who has never fought at fight above 135,

then on the other, basically allude that it wouldn't be fair for Floyd to be the smaller guy moving up 2 divisions from the last place he fought at.

You always have had stannish qualities about you.

If marquez who beat pacquiao twice is a pacquiao leftover, then what were dlh and hatton? because mayweather beat them 2 years before quackiao

It's what Arum has been doing for a while now. Putting Pacquiao in the ring with ruined leftovers.

What is so unrealistic about setting up a scenario where Floyd would have to go to 160?

In all reality, Floyd is making JMM move up 2 entire divisions hes never fought once in.

          This makes plenty of sense.
floyd already moved from 130 to 154

            I agree!

Doesn't look like leftovers to me!

            ....

THAT does look like leftovers though!

This is getting ridiculous! Manny is great because he beat fighters that Floyd already beat in his last two fights, fighterss that you guys already labeled as crappy competition in regards to Floyd, yet somehow are great wins in regards to Manny though, but Floyd is a ***** because he is fighting the guy that is universally considered P4P #2, also can arguably be P4P #1 himself, and is the guy that Manny has been avoiding for a rematch as well as arguably lost to? People around here keep talking about him picking on a smaller guy, if I didn't know who these guys wwere I would have images of Valuev fighting Ivan Calderon the way you guys are talking. Just look at the picture:

THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE THE SAME SIZE!!! In the old days great fighters fought each no matter the weight. I am guessing that according to some of you around here we should discard Jack Johnson's win over Sam Langford, Ezzard Charles win over Charley Burley, Hearns win over Duran, hell even Lewis vs. Tyson since the bigger man beat the smaller men in these fights. Its getting out of control around here in regards to the biasness against Mayweather, I am not eve sure if I should even bother looking at Mayweather threads around here anymore.

Last I checked, this one great fighter, came back from a three year layoff, moved up to middleweight, and challenged the divisions champion.

Again, that happened after a 3 year layoff.

But you are admitting Floyd isn't as great as he says right?
I think Floyd lacks some points in the legacy department. Many others as well fighting today. Even Pac is overrated the way some people are talking about him. If we break down each fighter and each division...it's not as good as some may think. Same with Floyd.

SRL also waited for Hagler to decline and lose motivation for the fight game. SRL said this himself.

Floyd's legacy lacks in my opinion. He needs to fight JMM, then Pac, then step up to the big boy league and fight Cotto (if he beats Clottey), Shane, and maybe Williams to top it off. Williams would put him up there with the true elites...unless people want to keep bringing up his one loss even though he avenged it...if that is the case, forget it; no point in making the fight. Then again, why fight Shane then since he is past his prime and Cotto lost to Margarito so that is that...just retire or fight Abraham I guess. Although, Abraham might be overrated so move up to LH and fight Dawson...although he is overrated as well. Maybe HW??? No, they suck in this era. He needs to find a time-machine and go back in time to face off against Pryor in his prime, maybe Duran, or maybe just go way back and fight SRR at WW.

Who do you think he needs to fight to get a lot of credit?

                    Pac
                    Cotto
                    Shane
                    Williams

Floyd weighing in at 147+ going up against WW that show up 10-20 pounds over should get him credit but it probably won't.

I remember when 1/2 of this forum disliked Pacquiao because of his fanbase on this site. Then they calmed down, Pac continued to win, and his fanbase rose around here.... Looks like it's time to start at the top again.

I'd say with **** posters like this it wont be long before that happens again.
