Also, for the record, Hatton doesn't need to make any excuses for his performance. He rushed in and fought the only way he knew how, and lost to the better man that night in Pacquiao. For everyone saying Hatton is full of **** and trying to reason his way out of a bad loss, give him a break. He just got KTFO in front of millions. It's human nature to defense mechanism your way out of hurting extremely bad, and obviously a few rounds more in this particular fight would most likely have not helped Hatton and could have hurt him much worse. He is simply rationalizing just like any other former great champion has done and will do in the event he gets his ass kicked and laid out cold.

Hatton Says a Few More Rounds Would Have Helped

[QUOTE=The Weebler II;5212493]Except it's not just the media, I've seen with my own eyes what the little guy is capable of. I don't buy excuses about weight-drained or no defence etc than so many latch on to, to try to explain away Pac's wins. I think he's the real deal and so do most other people.
No my response was that he's smaller and able to mix it with the kid. I think a small quick fighter does better against Pac, than a bigger fighter.
I believe not this time when he fought at featherweight...at 135 lbs. up to 147 lbs is already a different Manny Pacquiao, with the weights being added Manny's power increases & still maintained the speed plus with other additional techniques taught by Roach at present a polished right hook as good as his left hand...so i doubt another Marquez fight will have a different result, a more damaging outcome by knock out...although i respect Marquez & a fan of him, i also favored him to win against Floyd...

Manny exposes their weaknesses...

Everyone talks about the advantages a bigger fighter has (e.g. size/power) but they forget the advantages of a little guy (e.g. speed, natural elusiveness).
If Pac is going to be beaten it will be by a smaller fighter.I agree w/ u at some point, Manny exposes the great champions weaknesses as what happened in Barrera, Diaz, Dela Hoya & Hatton fights...they're were fast, strong & dominant w/ other opponents but w/ Pacquiao they looked old & slow....that's how high the level of Manny Pacquiao is...

It's an excuse,...

I don't think it's true, but then again, I wasn't in the ring that night and I have no right to criticise his opinion. If i only entertain Hatton's comments w/c i don't expect after the humiliating knock loss...i expect him to congratulate, honor, be humble, & praise his conqueror that even on his strongest weight division as undefeated & champion he was destroyed...it's sounds trash to me, it's only a plain & simple excuse in a different approach...
