I still have Marquez as pound for pound number 1.

    2) The Pacquiao that fought Marquez is definitely not the Pacquiao of today. He has improved exponentially.

    3) Pacquiao's accomplishments exceed those of Marquez by FAR. While Pacquiao destroyed heavier fighters like Oscar and Ricky, Marquez barely won against Barrera.

Sorry, but Pacquiao's destruction of Hatton in two rounds is more impressive than Marquez's wins against Casamyor and Diaz. The boxing world was shocked on Saturday night.
Packy hasnt improved "exponentially" ... he's just been fighting basic fighters. If you think old drained Oscar, David Diaz and Ricky Hatton are harder than Casa and Juan Diaz you dont know boxing well enough.
When Packy fights world class opposition he either loses or goes life and death.

They weren't sitting ducks with no defense, no hand speed, head movement.

Consider yourself in the extreme minority, Dapeedreean. Trying to discredit Pacquiao's recent win by considering Hatton far below Diaz is an insult to Hatton.

Also, Pacquiao has improved exponentially by developing knockout power in both hands. He's no longer a one dimensional fighter with a predictable arsenal of two right jabs and one left punch to the head.

You just can't impress people who don't want to be impressed. There are people who said that a Pacquiao win over Hatton would legitimize his claim for #1 p4p. I guess there are still some who aren't giving in.

He had that skill set against JMM in the second fight. JMM just knows how to neutralize him. And Juan Diaz is way better than Hatton in every way.

Pac 3 dominating performances over 3 bigger men.
Marquez 2 KO wins but not dominating over to men. Marquez had trouble with both fighters remember that, but as an elite fighter he adjusted.

Pac on the other 3 perfect fights unblemished and clear shutouts.
Seriously Marquez has been riding his close fights with Pacquiao way to long and people give him WAAAY to much credit. Sure it was close but again his fights after that werent dominating.

Damn a third fight needs to happen so we can end this debate. For sure Pacquiao KO's Marquez leaving no doubts in anyones mind, but too bad Mayweather is gonna do it first.
