OP is dead wrong. Pacquiao is still #1 for the following three reasons.
1) Even if you side with Marquez, it was not a decisive win on his behalf. Both fights were too close to say that Marquez deserved to win. This alone doesn't make Marquez #1.
2) The Pacquiao that fought Marquez is definitely not the Pacquiao of today. He has improved exponentially.
3) Pacquiao's accomplishments exceed those of Marquez by FAR. While Pacquiao destroyed heavier fighters like Oscar and Ricky, Marquez barely won against Barrera.
Sorry, but Pacquiao's destruction of Hatton in two rounds is more impressive than Marquez's wins against Casamyor and Diaz. The boxing world was shocked on Saturday night.
