Dawson won that fight IMO.
Was Johnson-Dawson a robbery?

I had Dawson winning by a point, close fight lot of rounds could of went either way, particularly rounds 10, 11, and 12.Comment

I concur. There were not really any rounds in the fight that were up for grabs. The rounds were either clearly Johnson rounds, or clearly Dawson rounds, and the clearly Johnson rounds outnumbered the clearly Dawson rounds.
I scored the fight for Johnson. The way they scored the fight was appalling.
Glen delivered one of the greatest shame on you post fight speeches of all time in that fight too.
There will be a rematch soon, Johnson is free to fight whoever wants, and Dawson should be free to fight whoever he wants, after he beats Tarver. I except these two to fight this year, unless the IBF forces Dawson to fight his mandatory.Last edited by Boxingwizard; 05-04-2009, 06:26 PM.Comment

It was actually a close fight. Johnson won the later rounds, and would have KOed Dawson if he had one more round, but Dawson won most of the earlier rounds.
This was very similar to Ottke vs. Reid.Last edited by The Hammer; 05-04-2009, 06:41 PM.Comment

Its not going to happen. Dawson's management will NEVER entertain the idea of putting their man back in the ring with Glencoff Johnson after the beating he received the first time.Comment
