Ricky Hatton vs Junior Witter, why not?

This is the only fight I could see for Ricky that would get some attention, and mean something. If Hatton wants one more fight, I think is the one that should happen (since Witter will be winning back the WBC strapa belt Hatton never won).

I've thought about it since Saturday night, too.

Don't know, though. I'm not sure how much it means anymore, and I think Hatton might be done. The time for this one is probably long since passed.

It probaly depends on how much money they can draw for it. They could probaly sell out the Man City ground but don't think they would do huge box office numbers now.

It would make sense. They would promote their rivalry years in the making. , plus Ricky never won the green belt, and Witter will probably be winning it back.

there's a reason why hatton didnt fight him for all these years. i dont think he will fight him now. but if he does the fight would still be huge here.

To be fair if Hatton was going to fight this guy then it should of been years ago not now after suffering 2 loses at the hands of good fighters. Not only that, im not sure if Ricky has anything left and can come back after a KO loss like that. Ricky's confidence right now is probably at an all time low, if he lost to Witter it would only further tarnish the great career he had.

And if Hatton gets KO'd by Witter?

His career ends on the worst low possible.

Being KO'd by 2 P4P #1's is one thing. Being KO'd by a comparatively unheralded guy with whom you have some very bitter previous, who you were speculated to have ducked and who's been saying he'd "destroy" you for years - Hatton's legacy as the era's British 140lb King would take a hard knock.

Let's see if Ricky's gonna fight on.

Nah. I don't see Witter knocking Hatton out. Pacquiao can crack like a mother****er, Witter can not.

Have to agree. It's a dangerous move for Hatton to fight Witter now. If he did fight him and lost by KO again then his legacy would be all but tarnished. Ricky dont do it...
