After the Penalosa fight, I actually had the words "pound for pound" flash through my mind.

He was deemed as a slick boxing talent on his way up, because he is so technically solid in his approach.

Then at the championship level, he showed unbelievable power.

Against Penalosa, he showed he can also be a volume puncher, while keeping that technical advantage. Regardless of how old an opponent is, you still have to have the conditioning and will to throw a zillion punches like he did. The deadly accuracy when throwing all of those against a guy who had his gloves up constantly was very impressive to me too.

I can't wait to see how this guy's career turns out.

His performance againt Winky was very impressive.

Winky may of had the long layoff and is past his best but his timing still seemed to be there and he was doing good in a few rounds. It was simply Williams style being all wrong for Wright. He clearly won using his superior reach and workrate.

His knockout over Quintana in the rematch was also impressive. Quintana proved he was tough against Cotto by taking his best shots for 5 rounds. Williams laid him out in 1.

Juanma's display of power was impressive against De leon but Leon is a very limited fighter.

His performance against Penalosa was impressive but Penalosa has never been a good fighter.

I feel Juanma has more potential, is the better fighter overall and will have the better career.
williams laid him out in 1 in the second fight it didnt take cotto 2 fights to do it in it took him 5 rounds in 1 fight

Both are amazing. Paul Williams has thrown a 1000 punches in fights and J.Lopez did it last time in just nine rounds. They're almost equally as good, Juanma has a small edge over Paul Williams IMO.

Both guys need to step to the best guys in their division right now.

Both are good. I think PWill has faced tougher guys so far.

JuanMa is a better technician with unlimited potential but we haven't seen him in there with the big guns yet.

We got some of that with PWill with Margs and Winky.
