I see it being competitive, and Marquez surprising people early on, but once Mayweather dust off the cobwebs he will be in tip top shape and embarrassing Marquez. Possibly and I think very likely TKO 9th round or so.

The thing with Marquez is that once someone throws, he throws in combinations very hard right back. Like if you reach in with a jab, Marquez throws flurries. I don't think Marquez has to worry. Juan Diaz was winning that fight and as long as Mayweather keeps his distance, which he will, he will be picking his shots very smart as he always does.

i know Mayweather will probably win but i want Marquez to win. But then again i dont want him to win because if he beats Mayweather he will say he is greater then Pacquiao. But **** it, a 3rd marquez fight with Pacquiao is better then Pacquiao vs. Mayweather.

lol @ all the people who think this is gonna be a walk over for Floyd yet some how Pacquiao is gonna own him? Marquez is INTENSE man I really like the guy and he's an awesome boxer, I think Floyd will win but just because Floyds the favourite it doesn't mean he's fighting some bum we're talking about a guy who destroyed two very good 135 champions and gave Pacquiao the fights of his life. It's gonna be a tough fight for Floyd but I got him winning 116-112.

It's a mismatch at 144, and in favor of Mayweather to win. Mayweather plays these weight games with his opponents, we all know he has all the advantages at that weight compared to Marquez

floyd is so much bigger and stronger......he may get ****** and jmm may be able to time him with a perfect punch that either slows him down significantly for the rest of the night or flat out KO him......

unlikely though, i dont think floyd will take the chance, he'll just potshot and run....and his potshots may actually hurt marquez because of the size difference......

This is a bad fight for Marquez stylewise. He's just going to get picked off with individual shots from Floyd all night.
Marquez's biggest strengths are:

1) His counter punching. However, Floyd is also a counter puncher, and a better counter puncher at that imo.

2) His speed. He may have the edge in some areas of speed, but i think where it counts in this fight is hand speed, and Floyd has the edge on hand speed.

3) His power. This may only be useful in this fight if he gets Mayweather onto the ropes, but Marquez isn't a pressure fighter so the chances of Mayweather being on the ropes much are slim. Also, due to Floyd's nature of fighting, he is unlikely to get into any trading wars with him.

So i'm trying to think how is Marquez possibly going to win this fight?

i cant believe ur doubting one of ur fav boxers..Ive been doubting Marquez before the Pac 1 and 2..and Im a big Pac fan..But right now, i should say Marquez has a very good chance of beating floyd..Floyd is a great puncher but i think marquez is better using combos..dont doubt the old man..he might just shock the world..=)
