I'm a big Marquez fan but...

This is a bad fight for Marquez stylewise. He's just going to get picked off with individual shots from Floyd all night.
    Marquez's biggest strengths are:

    1) His counter punching. However, Floyd is also a counter puncher, and a better counter puncher at that imo.

    2) His speed. He may have the edge in some areas of speed, but i think where it counts in this fight is hand speed, and Floyd has the edge on hand speed.

    3) His power. This may only be useful in this fight if he gets Mayweather onto the ropes, but Marquez isn't a pressure fighter so the chances of Mayweather being on the ropes much are slim. Also, due to Floyd's nature of fighting, he is unlikely to get into any trading wars with him.

So i'm trying to think how is Marquez possibly going to win this fight?

its not possible. He would have to get lucky and land a perfect punch. From distance, Floyd has too much reach and height. Even if he could somehow pressure floyd and get him on the ropes, we know the refs will let fraud use elbows to back him fof.

Like someone said in an other thread - ''This fight is borderline mismatch!''.

Floyd will pick Marquez off with his size and reach advantage.

I'm starting to think maybe Marquez is just trying to cash in whilst he still can.

lol @ all the people who think this is gonna be a walk over for Floyd yet some how Pacquiao is gonna own him? Marquez is INTENSE man I really like the guy and he's an awesome boxer, I think Floyd will win but just because Floyds the favourite it doesn't mean he's fighting some bum we're talking about a guy who destroyed two very good 135 champions and gave Pacquiao the fights of his life. It's gonna be a tough fight for Floyd but I got him winning 116-112.

JMM is a great boxer, but the truth is Mayweather is as slick as oil.

I could be wrong, but I think he's not gonna let Marquez ever feel comfortable with any strategy he plans on bringing.
