floyd's sorry ass makes a press conference and floyd stans go nuts on the board.

manny puts on a great performance and pachaks are going overboard?

    funny.
    Very good point.

It's expected though. Similar to fans of sporting teams, they will always find something to discredit an opponent or defeat itself. Some people do not know how to face humility being a good number of people were very adament about Hatton KO'ing Pacquiao. Shows much more class to accept defeat, but who cares about class on this site anyway?

i'd rather see manny try for a 147 belt against cotto or mosley myself. 7th belt is history.

won't hurt him if he loses to cotto or mosley either since he's expected to lose. if floyd were to beat pac , i seriously would do a drive by on horus and flawless' house. lol

      that said......Lakers 113 Rockets 96 , 4-0 sweep
Yeah, Cotto has proven more at 140+147, as has Mosley. Beating them means more IMO.

I genuinely mean that btw. If you beat a guy who is rated highly, but who hasn't beaten any elite level guys at 140 or 147, then people will turn around and say "I guess he just wasn't that good".

If you beat Cotto or Mosley, who have very good resumes at 147, then there is a lot less room for people to devalue the win.

The 'Mayweather was rusty' excuse will also be used, no doubt.

Manny should go after Cotto if he wants to have a great win at 147, although if he stays at 135-140 then I wouldn't blame him, as I don't consider him big enough for WW.

I Think every person has his own p4p list and in mine i go by what i see not what others say or who i think won. Do i think it was a close fight of course. I'm not like manny's a scrub or saying he isnt a great fighter i just personally think he's not better then floyd or jmm. But it's very very close

Listen i was never really big on Pac but ive watched this guy DRAMATICALLY improve and develop into the number 1 fighter today, Just appreciate the guy while he is here he is one for the ages and for once around here actually deserves the praise some are giving him! Pac has ripped through the divisions taking on the top fighters and putting on exciting shows along the way quit hating.

So **** if Cotto or Mosley beat him, THE GUY WAS A FLY WEIGHT! But at the same time the guy is THE number 1 LWW and will be a Serious problem for anyone at 147

I'm not denying that. He's just beaten a beat up hatton and a dehyrated oscar. It makes great boxing but let's see him face bradley @ 140 and watch him get KTFO.

I like Marquez, but moving up in weight I dont believe he's the same fighter while Manny hasn't lost a step. Remember those fights with Manny were at 125 & 130. Not to mention he was younger.

Uh....just 2 years ago it seemed improbable if not impossible that Pac vs Floyd would ever get matched up with 1 another even at a catchweight because of the size difference. Maweather had already been WW champ while Pacquiao was just finishing up his trilogy with Morales at 130.

So please dont give this crap about it being where floyd is now as opposed to years ago.

Wooohooo another shot fighter excuse for Pac...........I thought at same age, bigger weightclass....never been beaten at 140 would have taken that thought of any excuses but I guess not.

Surprisingly the new Pac-haters are Floyd fans. I really miss the Mexicans.
