Pacquaio is getting severly overated - calm the hype train down

A drained Oscar? A sitting duck for Pacquiao
A shot, overated, tailor made Hatton? Sitting duck for Pacquiao

Listen, he's a great fighter, but Freddie Roach knows exactly what type of fighter Pacquiao can beat. Pacquiao cannot handle a boxer. JMM already proved this. If you think for a second Pacquiao has a chance against a superior defensive, accurate puncher like Mayweather you need to get your head examined.

    Cherry Picked opponents ftw.

he just won a big fight in devastating fashion. it's to be expected.

floyd's sorry ass makes a press conference and floyd stans go nuts on the board.

manny puts on a great performance and pachaks are going overboard?

      funny.

        Some truth:

Pac's an "ATG" but he is no SRR.

I also brought up a thread not to long ago about if Pac or Floyd had met some "ATG" fighters in their divisions on the rise, how would they do...for example: Instead of Diaz, you have Duran (for Pac). Instead of Gatti, you can have Pryor (for Flyd) or vice-versa.

Freddie knows when to take on a fighter and likes to get advantages before the fight even starts...which is what we see with the weight issues being discussed about Shane and Cotto both have to come down in weight (despite Pac having already fougth at 147). If Oscar was in his prime at 147, I'm not so sure Freddie puts Pac in there or up against Shane.

Same thing right now with Floyd: Freddie mentioned that he wants it at a "catch-weight" in order to take something out of Floyd (for the fight). If this was a 130-140 pound Floyd at his best, I'm not so sure Freddie puts him in there with Pac. I do think Pac would want to though because he has the fighter mentality but he'll do what his team suggests.
Right now, I think it is a good time to get Floyd and Freddie will be watching the JMM bout closely. If Floyd doesn't look that impressive, Floyd's phone will ring during the fight to get a fight made...plus they'll still want him to come down in weight and make sure he wears "Reyes" gloves.
Even with Hatton: Pac wanted Floyd (but Floyd retired) but Freddie told him to take on Hatton who he himself said wasn't the same after Floyd.

If Freddie has Manny sign to fight Floyd, it will be because of where Floyd is at now and not what he was years ago.

And for Floyd: He needs to stop bitching and get the tough fights made because he too can cherry-pick.
Now there are certain things I do think were out of his control with making fights...like Arum...plus his plans on retiring after O$car, but fighting Mitchell and Judah were b.s.

                Your life is overrated.

Marquez is 0-1-1 against Pacquiao, granted they were great fights, but if you call drawing one and losing one proving something, then you are as worthless as your post.

Gotta learn to take these type of threads for their entertainment value and not for its validity and seriousness. The majority is on Manny's side now and no hater can put a dent in it.

i'm gonna laugh if floyd doesn't get the pac fight.

i'd rather see manny try for a 147 belt against cotto or mosley myself. 7th belt is history.

won't hurt him if he loses to cotto or mosley either since he's expected to lose. if floyd were to beat pac , i seriously would do a drive by on horus and flawless' house. lol

                    that said......Lakers 113 Rockets 96 , 4-0 sweep
