Floyd Sr probems with Ricky Hatton

He was caught up in a mixture of identity. He didn't know whether to be the new ricky or go back to his old ways, I'm certain Beard gave him a quiet word saying something along the lines that you're bigger than him and more powerful so brawl him.

That goes against what Sr taught him all along.

Ignorant brits, always think they know what's best, ultimately he got knocked the **** out.

It's all speculation up to this point. But you may be right.

Seems Ricky tried to revert back to his usual style of brawling, but his brain was already programmed to carry out a different set of tactics, causing a conflict of application.

Ricky went straight in and up without covering himself or using a jab to set anything up. He was getting caught the same way Floyd Jr. caught him.

Hatton doesn't have the ability to adjust.. So he should have kept his old trainer who tought him how to be a brawler to begin with.
