Froch shouldn't take the fight unless it's for big money.

1. He'll get no credit if he wins
2. If he loses (likely scenario) he'll be labeled an overated bum.

Hopkins would decisively beat Froch.

Taylor troubled Froch with his boxing ability and counter punching.

Taylor is good but is not the counterpuncher Hopkins is, plus isn't as crafty or as good defensively.

Hopkins right hand lands all night, actually any punch he throws lands.

I don't know about you guys but bar Calzaghe a win over Hopkins is probably the greatest win Froch could ever get. If Froch beat Hopkins I'd give him some huge huge respect to be honest, saying that though Hopkins is an ATG living legend who schools Froch style boxers for breakfast. But to the people saying it's gonna be Pavlik all over again? The Pavlik fight was at 170 wasn't it? and pavlik basically just put on 10 lbs of fat (I didn't see any added muscle and his shots looked weak) compared to Hopkins dropping 7 lbs to fight a huge puncher who doesn't have to altar his weight in any way shape or form, Frochs gonna be fresh and way more game than Pavlik was. I still got Hopkins as a huge favourite though as Frochs only hope of winning (IMO) is to throw like 100 punches per round.

I wouldn't do that yet if i was froch.. He should get a few more fights to improve on a couple of things and then think about guys like Hopkins and pavlik

Hopkins eats offensive guys like froch for breakfast. It's a terrible match-up for froch.

If somehow he could beat hopkins, it would add alot of crediabilty to froch and would make a fight with calzaghe even more possible.

I'd rather say Adamek, but Froch is a worthwhile opponent. Hopkins needs to fight one more worthy opponent as a farewell, then retire, the quicker the better.
