But if Pac vs PBF doesn't happen, i think its ok since floyd should really fight the best welter weights out there. And Pac fighting Cotto? It's not a super megabuck fight but still worth watching.
I really think we need to see what the Hatton / Pac numbers look like. Might even need to wait for the JMM / Floyd numbers as well. Then we will have a better idea who is holding the bigger stick right now. Right now Floyd has the PPV history. We need to see if Pac picked up anything and if Floyd has maintained his draw.

      Tripple crown winner prediction ~!!!!

      Pacman is amaziing !

I have been thrilled to watch many old fighters , I remember the Emile Griffeth , Luis Rodrigus fights,**** Tiger, Ruben Carter was a favourite, he had a tremendous left hook, Duran, Sugar RAY Leonard, Hearns Hagler and numerous etcs............... I am thrilled again with this great fighter Manny Pacquiao ! I didn't pay that close attention to him until he beat MAB !!!! I thought that maybe he was a one punch wonder and would not make it far. I didn't think he could take Eric M. in the first fight because Eric appeared to me to be more technical and I knew from all his previous fights he [Eric] wasn't running and was game to the bone to stay in the sweet spot and techincally beat Pac. But I also thought that the loss would spur Pac to get the Technical stuff down, and he did, thanks to Roach. He gets better each fight !!!!!!!!!

My socalled TRIPPLE CROWN for Pacman is based on the three highest fan based fighters out there and there is no doubt about the first two,

      1. De la Hoya, a great fighter made to quit, had a multitude of fans all over the world.

      2. Hatton,,, devastated by the left hook, Ultimate multitude of fans

      3. Now I am not sure of Mayweather, his fan base I think is shrinkin badly, people are seeing him for what he is, they are realizing they have been taken by the vile spue that comes from his mouth and realize he is not what he claims to be. They are looking at his accomplishments , that he did good on the way up but after he got there he began to duck, wait on other WW 's to whip each other, and then pick on smaller fighters, now he has disappointed his fan base by NOT taking on a great WW fighter like Willams or Mosley or Cotto , or Clottey, or Margarito, or Berto, so what does Mayweather do??? He really jacks up the vile and brags on whipping a jr lightweight, and makes him come in at WW ???????????????

YOU , that are staying with Mayweather JR, are you Honestly buying into that ????????????????? I know many will simply because, they will never be thinkers for themselves and they follow sound and Mayweather makes sound, but come on , some of you can do better that this !

The Tripple CROWN is Marred, I will wait and see if JMM can whip or KO Mayweather, if he does then this GREAT MEXICAN FIGHTER will take the place of May and we will have our Trilogy and Pac will be the TRIPPLE CROWN WINNER !!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if this is double posted. Boxingscene is behaving oddly today.

cotto can still fyt floyd after manny.
arum will toss cotto to floyd rather than manny because arum knows floyd is a difficult fyt for manny.
arum and cotto will call out floyd, before floyd can face manny.
the agument that manny-floyd will shatter all records is true.
but how much of it will escape arum and manny??
manny-floyd is enivitable if floyd gets pass miguel....
..this is not an incredible idea....just my opinion that makes sense.,,somehow.
I don't like the idea of Cotto-Pacquiao. Yes Pacquiao just destroyed Hatton, but Cotto is very much a BIG welterweight and can punch even harder to the body than Hatton can. Pacquiao's victories will end someday if he keeps taking on fighters that are much bigger, and I would hate to see it end extremely badly for him fighting those well above his "Effective" weight.

Mayweather is all wrong for a fighter like Pacquiao. Hatton fought the wrong fight against Pac, admittedly the only way he could fight him was the Ricky Hatton bulldozer style, but it's not the way to beat Pacquiao. If you watch the two Marquez fights, a good counterpuncher who is PATIENT and makes Pacquiao come in first gives him the most trouble, and this is exactly what Mayweather is. Mayweather will wait all day waiting for Manny and counterpunch him to no tomorrow. I know it seems like Manny is invincible right now but let's be realistic. Floyd has the style to beat him.

PETERINMI...whoa hold on there, Mayweather is a very skilled fighter, but boring as hell, when you compare who the biggest draw between him and pacquiao, obviously PACMAN is the bigger draw. MAYWEATHER's only big draw was DE LA HOYA fight. For a couple of reason, 1) De La hoya was involved in the fight 2) at that time Mayweather was known or respected by people who appreciate fancy boxing, rather than a boxer who really fights for his country will all his heart. If you compare all of Manny's ppv vs Mayweather's ppv (outside both De La Hoya fights with both guys) I'm sure more people watch PACQUIAO'S PPV. The Mayweather as a family always blow themselves up more than what us normal people can see. Like Floyd was suppose to be pretty boy floyd compare to de la hoya, i'm sure many women would beg to differ, Floyd Sr. is a better trainer than Freddy Roach. WHAT DO YOU THINK? tHE MAYWEATHERS ARE GREAT AT OPENING THEIR MOUTHS..THEY ARE ALL TIME GREATS AND HALL OF FAMERS for their mouths. When this fight does happen, I think that many people around the world would be overjoyed if Manny whoop his a$$ FOR 12 RDS, THEN KNOCK HIM OUT COLD BEFORE ROUND 12, can't get any better than that. With that said, the mayweathers don't know what being humble is, and will never learn no matter what...

I don't. As much as I dislike Floyd, I will readily admit he is very talented and has the style to beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao is stifled by effective counterpunchers(see the first Erik Morales fight, as well as the JMM fights), and can be outpointed and UD by them. I would find it incredible if Floyd could knockout Pacquiao, but if anything he would get the decision by effective boxing/riding on his bike ftw.

You guys need to pick with your brain not your heart. PBF will have more trouble with marquez than Pacman

Its pretty clear to me that Bob Arum is using the possible Cotto matchup as a ploy to gain leverage in a fight with Mayweather.

He knows that Floyd is going to want the lion's share (assuming he beats Marquez) and by flashing a potential fight with Cotto, which is made realistic by the fact that Arum could definitely make this fight happen, he is gaining leverage to wheel & deal with Floyd.

Everyone knows that Pacquiao-Mayweather is the biggest fight possible in the sport, but it is a business after all and all parties involved are going to want to make the most out of it financially.

A fight with Cotto would be a huge success, I'm sure, but I also know that it wouldn't do half as good as a fight with the current Pound for Pound King, and the former one.

I think we can see exactly where we the fighters draw is after the Hatton numbers are in and the JMM fight happens. I suspect that Hatton/Pac will not do as well as Floyd/Hatton did. I also expect JMM/Floyd will do pretty well this summer but that is a tough fight to call.

Although I don't totally disagree with most of your statements I find it hard to agree with the part about "PACMAN is the bigger draw".

For the record I don't find Mayweather a boring fighter anymore then I did Pernell Whittaker. Personal taste I guess.
