I am American and I dont even know the words to the song. I dont care if they boo that boring ass song. What bothers me even more is when they bring some pop artist out and turns a 45 second song into a 3 minute blow fest of nothing but long hot air.

The media influences us all. I am not very influenced by it personally. BUT it is a weapon of mass "brainwashing".

Are you OK? What do you presume any normal person can do about those issues? The sad thing is nationalism plays a major factor as to why those problems exist. They follow a flag or certain ideals.

It's a culture thing. That doesn't actually happen in most countries if neither of the competing athletes or teams is from the host country.

BTW, as has been said it wasn't the anthem being booed, it was DLH. By both Brits and Pinoys, actually.
