No American fighter was in the main event and even if there was it still would't be justified.

I am American and I dont even know the words to the song. I dont care if they boo that boring ass song. What bothers me even more is when they bring some pop artist out and turns a 45 second song into a 3 minute blow fest of nothing but long hot air.

The media influences us all. I am not very influenced by it personally. BUT it is a weapon of mass "brainwashing".

As a person with a background in journalism, I can assure you much of what you are told by the media is BS.

We finally agree on something. This is a major step forward in world peace.

The Brits are the FIRST country to have our back so I don't see what the big deal is. They think this is a soccer game so they just do what comes natural to them when they hear a song of rival side they boo.

Actually I think they only started booing when Oscar appeared on the big screen behind Jasmine Villegas while she was in the middle of the anthem

It's a culture thing. That doesn't actually happen in most countries if neither of the competing athletes or teams is from the host country.

BTW, as has been said it wasn't the anthem being booed, it was DLH. By both Brits and Pinoys, actually.
