Pac is too small for Cotto and would get KTFO by him.
u never know. pac pulls upsets all the time. everybody usually doubts him against bigger fighters. even i doubted him with his last 2 fights but he just continued to surprise me so i would not doubt pacman winnign against cotto.
I just dont get the whole arguement people are trying to make in Cotto being too big and strong for Manny. Both have identical reaches. Both are 5'6"-5'7" and while cotto is a little bit more solidly built than manny, they are basically the same size.
What I don't get is the whole myth on Cotto having power. Some power, but nothing overwhelming. Whether Tony cheated or not, one thing is for sure, he completley dispelled any ideas of cotto having power, by him eating power shot after power shot (then only to be KTFO by a shot mosley).
Also in the fight with glass jaw judah and an old shane mosley, his power wasn't there. Outside of bums, when has Cotto ever displaying elite punching power.
If the two fought Manny will finish him within 10 rounds by stoppage. Here are 8 reason why:
1. Pac is faster and will catch cotto plenty of times. That uppercut on him vs judah will be a repeated theme through out the fight. One in which Cotto is getting caught with suprise punches.
2.Pac is too elusive for cotto to impose his will with body shots. Pac has the side to side movement that will drive cotto nuts , in turn making cotto start head hunting.
3. Pac is the type of fighter than can easily box for 15 rounds plus, while cotto has serious issues with stamina.
4. Cotto isnt the type of fighter to wrestle and muscle you around the ring with strength. Just not his style
5. Cotto has a tendancy to engange in toe to toe combat and that plays right into manny's favor.
6. Pac has had success in wars (several) were he was very successful in fighting that type of style. Cotto has not
7.Cotto lacks the discipline to stick to a gameplan designed to beat manny. Manny is more patient, will pick his spots, while cotto ****yness will make him want to fight to prove a point.
8. Pac is faster, is the more accurate and BIGGER puncher, and will put on a clinic vs cotto.
to me this won't even be close.
i just think that you are a pac man's fan...you are not been real in you comments...come on man, Cottos it's the real welter here....you will see.
