Hatton has been exposed big time, Floyd didn't probably know how easy he was to get rid of so was careful manny knew and just tysoned him
PSA: That was the best Hatton, ever. And you're a fool if you deny it.

I admit that Hatton looked the same as he always has- no better, no worse. It was just made brutally clear that he doesn't belong with the elite as his natural abilities are just too flawed. He had an awful first round, but landed a couple good shots in the second, but when you throw shots the way Hatton does, it's only a matter of time before someone as talented and lethal as Manny comes along and makes easy work of you.
I take absolutely nothing away from Manny - what he did last night still amazes me when I think about it. The best, unbeaten fighter at 140, made to look like an amateur and disposed of in 2 rounds.. that's just scary..Comment

Look at the first couple of minutes in the fight. Hatton was really energetic, and Manny was really uncomfortable. Manny was landing a couple of counter hooks but nothing serious.
And then Manny simply figured Hatton out. Manny doesn't fight like Floyd "Potshot" Mayweather, he counters with hard, sharp counters after he lands that first counter. That's what really dug De La Hoya in. Mentally it makes fighters hesitate, and that's what happened, Ricky began hesitating and it made him throw wild shots. That's all Pacquiao really needed.
Manny has the best timing in the game right now, I mean when you fight at 122, 126, 130, 135 all of those guys are much faster at those divisions. When you move up to higher weights its like fighting in slow motion.
Another thing to note is that Malignaggi would have went the distance with Hatton had Buddy Mcgirt and Lou Dibella hadn't been paid off to stop it early. That was a Malignaggi with no offense really, so we were made to believe "Ricky was new and improved", when really he wasn't, he was still punching with his head in the air. Now if a guy with no offense/power can go the distance, what could ever make you believe Hatton had a decent chance of defeating Pacquiao? And Hatton didn't look "faded or shot" in that fight. He actually was very disciplined in between the fights, and they had a 12 week training camp.
So stop claiming Hatton was shot in order to bump up your boy Floyd! You can't fool me!

I agree, that had a little bit to do with it. But I don't think Floyd is as sharp with his counters as Manny. Manny is more of a impulsive, reflexive, improvising fighter. Floyd is much more of a fighter who relies on his timing.Comment

Because Floyd Mayweather is much more methodical than Manny Pacquiao/. Manny is a beast that goes for the kill when he sees the smallest opening. Floyd will only go for it if the risk isn't too high. Its not to discredit Mayweather that I say this- I'm just stating the facts. He is a different knd of fighter than Pac, altogether.Comment
