I said Miguel Cotto seems like a good guy out side of the
ring but inside the ring I am not totally sold on him like
everyone else is and I think that I have been pretty solid
about this throughout my time on this site. I think Pacquiao's
speed and accurate punching laid Hatton out. A fight with
Hatton and Cotto could have possibly been a lil more
competitive due to how they pace themselves in the
ring and don't throw as much punches as Pacquiao
and don't have the speed. You guys need to get
a clue. My posts are about boxing not who i like
or dislike. I look at boxing from a technical, strategy
out look not a "Oh I hate this guy or like this guy"
sometimes I'm wrong with my predictions and sometimes
I'm right but it's all about boxing. I manned up and gave
Manny his props like I said.

wow four pounds away marquez spent almost his whole life at 126 floyds last 5 fights have been at welterweight or above and he previous 3 were at 140 so hes gotten used to fighting a40 pounders and above marquez had what one fight at super feather weight and 2 fights at 135 and now moving 8 pounds up 2 fight a guy whos last 8 fights were 140 or above? ok, so lets not make false accusations about each other
and keep it professional and about the sport. your 18 but
I'm much older watching boxing longer, all in all we will agree
to disagree but whatever. The difference is that you know
Floyd is a great solid technical fighter but you don't like his
attitude personally, me on the other hand I like Miguel as a
person but just not impressed with him as a boxer. Cotto
has a chance against anyone because he is a puncher but
that's all I see him as. If a fighter can take his punch and
pressure away then they can beat him. I just don't see
nothing technical about him, besides having a decent jab.
I think Marquez & Manny are bigger threats to Floyd than
Cotto and Mosley and it is in people right to agree or
disagree but doesn't make me a HATER or a hugger.

Miguel Cotto's style is taylor made for Manny Pacquiao. If that fight
happens I'm going with Manny on this one. Manny has won my
confidence and full respect. The only fighter I wouldn't pick him
over is Floyd because of PBF's technical awareness and ring generalship
but Cotto? I can see Pacquiao giving him major problems with his speed
and power.

It's such a misconception that Cotto is this straight pressure fighter, that's so untrue. He wouldn't do what Hatton did, not even close. I really don't see how Cotto's style is tailor made for Pac. Cotto would pressure, but it would be very selective, if there's one thing Cotto does well it's apply effective pressure, not blind pressure.

I think Pac would have LOT of trouble with Cotto's jab. He would have a very tough time getting around it.
