a knockout loss. he wouldnt be as famous as he is if he weren't allowed to cheat against Tszyu, and when he's not allowed to cheat, well, everyone knows what happens.

"hate" is a bit of a strong word.

I've noticed over the years that a lot of British fighters hold and hit a lot: Ricky Hatton, Danny Williams, David Haye, etc.

Williams was doing it repeatedly to McDermott yesterday.

The referees in the UK don't seem to enforce the rules against it like the American refs do.

Maybe you should watch some fights pre Tyzu or even the Malanaggi fight

Hatton doesnt have any defence, Holding would be one way of avoiding getting hit and if the referee doesnt allow the holding/clinging then hatton would be in trouble.

If Hatton isnt allowed to hold then he would be in big trouble because he doesnt have any sort of defence.

I agree. Hatton has a padded record against terrible british and euro fighters and if he wouldve fought kostya during kotsya's prime, he wouldve gotten decapitated.
