he might have been past prime a bit but obviously still good enough to beat pac 1st time around wasn't he?
He was old and coming off a loss to Raheem wasn't he? I think he also previously lost to barrera too no?

For reference and out of interest , who exactly did mayweather fight before castillo in 2002 at lightweight? I hope your not going by boxrec, because they list mayweather's weight on fight night, example, it has him at 150 pounds for the fight with de la hoya but the weight limit was 154 pounds.

That's who mayweather took the title from at 135, a potential hall of famer in his prime. Manny beat David diaz. Was Morales, or De La hoya prime when manny beat them? Was hatton even in his prime after mayweather already knocked him out?

didn't mayweather fight zab judah coming off a loss?

even with his lost to barrera , morales was still #2 in the division. his lost to raheem was at 135.

if you want to say past prime. that's fine. don't say old. 29-30 is not old.

why the hell would they list UNOFFICIAL weights? lmao

you don't know what you're talking about. who the hell keeps track of UNOFFICIAL weights for a fight?

150 was floyd's OFFICIAL weigh in weight.

Yes, the judah fight was agreed when judah was undisputed champ, so many wasnt being a ***** there, judah lost the tune up, Mayweather beat judah, then beat the man who beat judah.

I think Pacquiao's achievements have actually done a lot for Floyd's career. Pacquiao has got all this recogntion for beatig fighters Floyd has fought as well. If a great like Pac gets credit for these wins, it's impressive that Floyd has beat these people too. Thier resume's come November are gonna be pretty similar. It really is a huge fight to decide the fighter of the decade. Floyd should thank Pac for giving him the opportunity to put a seal on his resume and to put a seal on his greatness. without Pacquiao there wasn't that massive fight for Floyd which his career needs

Mayweather: Marquez, De la Hoya, Hatton, Castillo, Corrales

Pacquiao: Marquez, De la Hoya, Hatton, Barrera, Morales

so you want to compare just lightweight? that's fair.

was delahoya prime when floyd beat him? nope.

so just because mayweather koed him , hatton is no longer prime when ricky fought him a year later? lol

No problem. I asked you for the names because You also said mayweather only won ring magazine fight of the year once and manny won it twice.

You used this as reasoning for manny being above mayweather in the legacy stakes

When in fact mayweather won it in 1998 and 2007.

Because Floyd beat De La hoya at his natural weight class and Pacquiao fought an imposter killing himself to make 147 pounds for the 1st time in years.

Secondly Hatton was unbeaten when Floyd faced him, many picked hatton to win and floyd gave him a boxing clinic, floyd was the fighter who exposed hatton.
Didnt Hoya fight Forbes at 147?

dude , you try to argue but you don't think.

you excuse judah fight for floyd because the fight was already agreed to?

and morales fight wasn't? you do realize it was a double header tuneup card right? manny fought velazquez at 130 and erik tried out 135 with raheem on the same card to set up their upcoming rematch. i think that qualifies as a fight that was already agreed to.
