this is what i think happened....floyd, sr. was bull****ting the whole time, about that ricky being more techinical....if you watch ricky actually was doing well in the clinches, and pac looked off balance and uncomfortable.....the plan was to bully the hell out of manny....when ricky jsut stood straight up, is when he got rocked by pac's power.....ricky's undoing was manny's power imo.....i actually think ricky's gameplan was not a bad idea.

Yeah Pac was knocked off balance and did look uncomfortable a few times, I think one time was right before the end of the 1st.

It's not so much the gameplan that I'm critiquing though. It's the WAY he did it. Like I said in my earlier post, theres nothing wrong with being a bully and walking forward through shots to get where you want to be, but if you're gonna have your hands waving around your shoulder blades pretending to be some kind of defense without moving your head against a fast volume puncher, why not just ask someone to wrap a baseball bat in foam and smack you on the jaw with it?

Either Hatton learned nothing, which is what a lot of us saw in that 20 second clip of Hatton sparring on 24-7 or Hatton did not even listen to Mayweather Sr. but you can hear Mayweather Sr yelling at Hatton in the corner after the first round in the corner. His last words were you should have been listening to me from day one? It sounds as though that is what he says I know he tells Hatton to keep his hands up and move his head. Hatton did not learn shiet. Hatton really must have believed that he was in there with a smaller man and he was just going to man handle his way to victory. Did he not see how fast Manny was against De La *****? :lmfao:
