    Different styles man.

    On another note.

    Floyd fights off the ropes to give the impression that smaller fighters are actually pressuring him when in those situations, HE is the power puncher playing possum. Hattons punches hardly bothered the guy, and you cant pressure someone with shots that dont bother you unless you're a very high volume puncher, which Hatton isn't really.

    Anyway, pretending that you're scared of a smaller fighter whos punches aren't even moving your guard and calling it the hardest fight of your life, is just a way to convincingly fight smaller guys without the criticism.
    is it coward style by mayweather?

      And dont mention weight, because as ive said above, De La Hoya was fried at 147.

      Goodnight Irene.
      So DLH was a shell after just a year and one fight between and Floyd broke Hatton. Yeah right, I guess the huge punishment DLH took in his fight with Floyd also broke DLH. You guys are hillarious can't even come to grips that your superman is not so super.

        Styles make fights. This is something youre all going to forget for the next few months because you will, in effect, inact a triangle theory until the two of them fight.

              Correction, Manny is now a 6 weight world champ. Lineal champ at 4 weights (1st time in history). Since 2003, please look at his body of work vs. mayweathers. Pac has fought FAR better competition. Couple this with what he does outside the ring & he is the man, he is the face of boxing & he is an all time top 20. Floyd will never reach Pac's popularity.

                No, he gets plenty of credit. Talented fighter or not, he ruled his division for more than 4 years, was undefeated at the weight, and despite his technical shortcomings is one of the toughest fighters on the planet. The manner in which Pacquiao took him out was the most impressive thing. Not the fact that he could be KO'd, but how he was KO'd. Manny made him look like a drunken street bum. Doesn't mean he is one.

                    Manny has the better "Names" but I don't think any fighter Manny fought could have beaten Floyd specifically when Manny fought them...and I'm using the lower-weight Floyd to make it fair.

                    However, I can agree with the thread title that Floyd now has to prove himself more. He'll fight JMM to get a name under his belt and to try to out-do Pac. Then if he wins, he'll have to get a fight with Pac and defeat him. If he gets by Pac, he'll have to go after Cotto or Mosley if they continue to win. And then whatever else.

                    The question is: Is Floyd still the same fighter both Mentally and Physically?
                    We'll have to wait and see.

                      This is the dumbest ****ing logic, I've heard in a minute.

                      Boxing 101;

                      Styles make fights.

                      Besides that, I don't find it that impressive that Pac Man beat a totally drained De La Hoya at 147, compared to the monster at 154 that Floyd had to fight
