      it's not a tune-up; it's a mega fight

the two best boxers in the sport going at it... i8 wish people would stop calling JMM a tune up. it's disrespectful to a great fighter in his own right

Floyd is expected to beat anyone and everyone, doesn't mean every fight is a tune-up

if it didnt matter why did he agree to 143 not 140. the guy is a punk ass beyotch & your a sucker if u think he's the greatest of all time brah. a match vs cotto or mosley would be a bigger money fight & legacy building fight. This is just more ammo to the critics who accuse him of ducking challenging fights.

JMM just knocked out maybe the 2 best LW's in the world who no one else has ever KO. He was going to 140 anyways and Floyd agreed to come to 143? This fight is so fair

Darchinyan called him out too. Should he make that fight? I hear Ivan Calderon was talking some smack too. Maybe Floyd should fight him as well......

Glad Floyd is back, but he's going to walk through Marquez. Nothing but a tune-up

You know you're good when it's considered a "tune up" when you fight the #2 P4P fighter in the world at a very competitive weight of 143.

Floyd is not THAT much bigger.

People need to stop bitching about weight. You're just lying to yourselves and pretending that you won't be excited as hell come July 18th. If you would have asked me a year ago if this fight would be made I would have said no, but that would be ****ing awesome. I appreciate boxing and these two are some of the best of this era going at it. He's a ***** this, he's out of his mind that, tune up this, layoff that. Just enjoy two greats fighting. I swear, some of you aren't giving Marquez enough credit. I personally can't wait for this.

                    hahaha,

u floyd fluffers are soo easy. The whole "marquez called out floyd, hatton called out floyd" card is a complete cop out from having to face guys in his division. its okay, we got analysts & historians that will analyze & put floyd in his proper place, not wanna be fake ass wangsta lovers w/ floyd avatars.

                    Enjoy your G.O.A.T.

I guess u guys also think britney spears is a great musician & paris hilton is really talented.

                    Delusional dunces.

I think the "competitive weight" part of your statement is where alot of people might disagree. It's 8 pounds north of Marquez' highest weight, a weight that he was actually only at for his last 2 fights.
