    Money Mayweather Officially Back. Marquez Fight On!

    It is official. Moments ago at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, announced that Floyd Mayweather Jr. was coming out of retirement to fight Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18, on HBO pay-per-view, at the MGM Grand. Mayweather fights for the first time since knocking out Ricky Hatton back in December 2007. [details]

              mayweather will be in with a good counter puncher and the weight wont affect marquez as much as it will for floyd.. but i wont make any predictions till the fight gets closer

                  Very pleased Floyd is coming back! - waste of f**king time retiring though. Seriously wasted years. People just don't like him because he is so good. Who cares that he is arrogant? it's not like he is my friend! sometimes you have to be a certain way to get the right mind set. I have heard some good things about him from interviewers in private time, which suggests he is no so bad. But when you wear a mask too long - it sticks.
