the way cottos legacy is right now he wont be remembered, if he is then ppl will say

"hey that was the guy who quit on his knees against his daddy margarito"

thats all all cotto will be remember for, once they dig his history down

"that was the guy who won vacant belts all the time, no linear title at any weight"

I really don't think Mayweather is ducking anybody he just needed a brake from boxing full on. I believe after Marquez that Mayweather vs. Cotto and then Winner gets the winner of tonight's fight. Just my opinion but Mayweather has nothing to hide nor prove he left on top of the game and until someone proves else wise what can boxing fans do except speculate.

You say Floyd will cherrypick then say he will face Pacquiao

It doesn't make sense, if Manny " The freak of Nature " Pacquiao is not a threat then nothing is

BTW, Pacquiao is favoured to beat Floyd so there can be no cherrypicking excuses

Dont fear his retirement, and dont call it a comeback, cause manny is gonna get his ass knocked the *** out. (vs mayweather).
Thats why he's a +225 underdog because everyone is thinking is a close fight. Can't you read 95% of boxing experts are picking Pac.

Boxing feeds on good fights/fighters but I do agree, throwing Floyd into the mix, especially for the JrWW-WW, is the biggest bonus boxing can have.

Put any top guy vs. Floyd and it's a big fight.

He just better make sure his **** is in check because if he comes back worse off, and keeps fights close, I do think there is a good possibility they will rip him off on the score-cards. He needs to start to win fights from round 1 unless he can break fighters down and knock them out which isn't as likely as him out-pointing them.

I think Floyd just wanted some recuperation time from all the wear and tear his body suffered because of his twitch style particularly his brittle hands and his shoulders.

Now he's back in top form to kick the living **** out of some old and bloated super featherweight.

There is really no telling where Floyd is at both Mentally and Physically right now. History doesn't favor someone in Floyd's position. Age, wear and tear, possible decline before he left...and his mental attitude for the sport while going into retirement. We'll see.

And Floyd isn't the biggest guy on the block. 147+ by fight-time isn't something to awe at. Pac was the same weight for Diaz.
